The first meeting of for the year of the Vicksburg Art Association will be held
Two years ago (just two weeks after Hurricane Katrina) as the opening program of the new year, Vicksburg Art Association presented a retrospective of the works of Elizabeth Pajerski – which had been donated by the family to Mississippi College to fund an endowment for School of Art. Much archival and curatorial work on the Pajerski materials (artworks, books, slides, journals, letters and cards, even her art supplies and leftover blank canvasses) has been performed and used by the students. As a special feature, a recipient of the Pajerski endowment will be on hand to speak about their studies.

This meeting is also a
Vicksburg Art Association meets monthly and offers a Spring Membership Exhibition, a Fall Statewide Exhibition, periodic workshops, and a Youth Exhibition. The annual Christmas Party is a benefit for the maintenance of the Old Constitution Firehouse.
